Headquarter's

To meet the needs of a growing North Rockland, the Corps began construction in September, 2001 of a new headquarters less than one mile away on  Route 9W. The building will be state of the art. Modern, efficient heating and air-conditioning systems will be installed, as well as a gas powered electrical generator that will provide heat and electric to the building in an emergency. The large four bay garages could be used for temporary shelter for dozens of families in the event of a storm, flood or other disaster. There will be a kitchen, showers, and sleeping quarters should the need arise when the ambulance crews must remain at the building due to inclement weather or other situations. The larger building provides for much needed medical storage space, offices for the members, and for training rooms for first aid and CPR courses.
